Northampton County, VA, is located on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. It’s 35 miles long and the peninsula itself is 70 miles long. Northampton County is in the southern part of the peninsula. Known as “The Shore”, the locals also know it as Bayside and Seaside. Northampton county is bordered on the west side by the Chesapeake Bay, hence Bayside, and on the east by the Atlantic Ocean, aka Seaside. The environment has remained unchanged because of its unique location.
