Accomack County Democratic Committee

The Accomack County Democratic Committee represents those Democrats who live in the northernmost county of the historic and scenic Eastern Shore of Virginia. We have farmland, beaches, marshes and forests throughout our county. We have over 1300 square miles and 450+ of those square miles are land and 850+ square miles are water. That’s over 65% of our county. Our shoreline is bounded by the Chesapeake Bay to the west and the Atlantic Ocean to our east. We have a habitat that is home to many creatures of the land and sea. It is the serenity of our locale that many visitors seek when visiting our open landscapes and our small towns. It is also what draws people to move to Accomack County.

Besides our beautiful environment and towns, which recall another time, we do have a strong seafood industry, an agricultural sector that is adaptable to what consumers need, and we are home to the Wallops Flight Facility, operated by NASA and includes other commercial partners who are expanding the development and launching of bigger and more sophisticated rockets.
